Gildart Family Reunion in Thayer, KS...
One of the best days I have had in a long time.  Not only did I get to hang out with great people and eat great food, I got to play around with Rip's (the second cousin of sorts) photo equipment...
My main interest was focused on his Canon 17-35mm f2.8 lens (attached to his Canon EOS-1D Mark III, of course.)
It's funny how different equipment can boost one's confidence 10-fold.  :-D
