For National Camera Day, I decided to teach my AWESOME friend, The Chad, how to use a camera!
After about 15 minutes of going over a few "ropes", I set him free to test out what he learned.
This is one of the photos he took and enhanced himself from our lesson.

Day Two Hundred&One - Two Hundred&Seven

I know I have been awful at keeping this up, but I am hoping (again) to get better.
For you.
And you.
Here are a few photos from my weekend.  I have been so busy this summer that I just now made it to the pool for the first time.  A resulting sunburn was totally worth it.  I met so many new and awesome people that I hope to hang out with more very soon.  :-)  Enjoy!!

Day One Hundred&EightySix

I had a very eye opening experience this weekend while in Oklahoma City.
My parents and I paid a visit to the Oklahoma City Memorial site for the bombing that took place in 1995.
It is a very chilling and sad experience, however, I highly suggest everyone experience it.  Especially if you were around when it actually happened.  I don't remember where I was but I do remember watching the news and hearing about it for a very long time.
The first picture above is from the fence where everyone leaves things for their loved ones.  I saw these little shoes and it broke my heart.  Not sure if they are for a little person that died in the bombing or if they were left BY a little person for someone else that died.  Either option kills me.
I am very thankful for my family and friends and seeing all of this really made me realize how much I have.
Love you all.
Hug your Mom and Dad.

Enjoy!!

Day One Hundred&EightyFive

Happy Fourth of July!!
I'm sure you have all already gone to bed and are more than done shooting/seeing/hearing fireworks.
Me too.
However, before we wind down this wonderful holiday, I wanted to share a few of the fireworks photos I took.  I was mostly playing around with long exposures and my tripod.  A ton of fun to see what came out of it.  :-)

Hope you all had a safe and fun holiday weekend!
