Day Thirty-One

Today, Mr. Kyle took me on a photo adventure to Liberty Memorial.
He had never been and I had only been one other time.
The view from the top is amazing, especially if you are like me and completely in LOVE with the Kansas City skyline.

P.S. I am not sure if I pulled the whole "sun behind the subject" thing off correctly... If you have suggestions on things I should change or should have done, please let me know. :-)

P.P.S. I also learned how to use textures in PS today!

F-stop: f/18
Exposure time: 1/800 sec.

Day Thirty

Dear Olathe City Workers,
Learn how to plow the streets when it snows. It would definitely cut down on photos like this.
Love,
Baylie

This is a picture I took with my phone this morning after I slid on the ice, jumped a curb, hit a fire hydrant (see arrow), slid ACROSS the street, jumped another curb, then parked my car in a random lawn.

Luckily, I was right by work, so my friend Ainslie came and sat with me and Nancy and Karolynn brought us Hot Chocolate while we waited for police and tow trucks.

Now I just have to wait and see if I get my car back! blah.

Day Twenty-Three

I woke up thirsty.

A shot in the rear, flu swab, urine test, blood work, and x-ray later I found out that I just had a 24 hour bug that I would have to sleep off.
It is now 24 hours later.
I have slept the majority of that time period.
Let's hope it is gone.

No stats today... This photo was taken from Kyle's phone. :-)

Self Portrait Much?
